Mitsubishi Electric has launched a new campaign to highlight how the company is solving social challenges in India’s industry, infrastructure, life and mobility. According to the company, the first phase of the campaign includes two digital films of 120 seconds each which have been created on the themes of infrastructure and industry which will be launched and promoted via digital media in a phased manner.
The campaign resonates with the brand’s belief in keeping society central to everything the company does, said Kazuhiko Tamura, Managing Director of Mitsubishi Electric India Pvt. Ltd, said. “Mitsubishi Electric in India is no longer just a product company, but a holistic electrical and electronics solutions provider that is poised to solve social challenges through its capabilities inside and outside the Group and our new campaign testifies to this,” he added.
Conceptualized by Hakuhodo India, the commercials were shot in the last week of February with a crew of around 100 people over seven days covering over 10 locations in Pune and Mumbai. Advertising campaigns were directed by Sahil Shah and music was created by Anand Bajpai, vocals for two songs by Suvarna Trivedi and Anand Bhaskar as well as voice overs by Rajat Kapoor, Nimisha Shrohi and Sameep Nanda.
According to Kosuke Kataoka, Managing Director of Hakuhodo India, Mitsubishi Electric is an established and quality-conscious company that offers a wide range of products. “The challenge for the agency was to transform the corporate image based on the product into a corporate image that speaks to the solutions and the societal problems it can solve. We have kept empathy at the heart of communication to bring out the essence of Mitsubishi Electric as a corporate citizen ready to solve India’s social challenges through its products and solutions by keeping society at the center of his thinking,” he said.
Through this campaign, the brand reiterates its commitment and tries to spread the word about how it supports industry, infrastructure, life and mobility to solve India’s social challenges and meet its ambitions through disruptive technologies, solutions and engagement.
