Leading community retail group Londis has announced the launch of a new cross-platform TV and social media advertising campaign featuring Irishmen Liam and Des.
Ireland was first introduced to the fearless duo in 2019 as part of Londi’s award-winning sponsorship of the hit RTÉ show, Ireland’s Fittest Family and their comedic interactions have since provided great entertainment for viewers of the episode.
Londis has built on these quirky mind stings and invites viewers to become even more invested in the adventures of Liam and Des.
After an investment of 1 million euros, this campaign is a new modern version of Londi’s slogan “Local like you” and focuses on how “Londis listens” to its customers, learns from them and adapts in-store offers. to reflect the needs of London shoppers. Liam and Des are key figures in the campaign as they listen to customer interactions and fill store shelves accordingly.
Directed by Irish director and writer Damien O’Donnell, under the creative umbrella of creative agency, With the HuskiesThese exciting new adverts were filmed at one of Londis’ latest new-look stores, Glennon’s Londis Cabra in Dublin and will be broadcast on TV, video on demand and accompanied by a digital and social media campaign.
Commenting on the launch of the creative campaign for Londi, Conor Hayes, Londi’s Chief Sales Officer, said: “We are really excited about this advertising campaign and through it we hope to deliver enjoyable entertainment that will lift the spirits of our customers. .
