Kumon North America Selects Lakeland’s Curious Jane as New Ad Agency

LAKELAND Kumon North America selected Lakeland’s Curious Jane advertising agency to develop the brand’s consumer and franchisee recruitment marketing strategy for the United States and Canada.

The partnership will build on Kumon’s success among educational franchises to increase brand awareness, welcome new students to Kumon centers and grow the franchise in existing and developing markets, according to a Kumon press release.

“We are thrilled to be working with Curious Jane to attract new Kumon families and instructors,” said Leah Coyle, Vice President of Brand at Kumon North America, in the press release.

“Together, we will launch a creative new campaign that builds on Kumon’s niche as the premier after-school math and reading enrichment program. We are confident that Curious Jane will help us achieve our ultimate goal: to create more successful and independent learners.

Curious Jane, located at 439 S. Florida Avenue, is a national franchise advertising agency that was founded 18 years ago in Lakeland.

Kumon, which has been in business for 60 years, develops after-school math and reading enrichment programs for students from preschool through high school.

Kumon’s academic program is individualized for each child with a curriculum that takes a step-by-step approach to learning, helping children develop strong math, reading and writing skills, as well as improving confidence and study habits, the statement said.

Curious Jane President and CEO Lora Kellogg said in the press release that the agency was honored to be entrusted with Kumon’s marketing efforts.
