The news welcomes a new chapter of growth for cannabis businesses, as figures showed the industry was worth £690million in 2021, while struggling in an already challenging environment.
Open the door to advertising
“For years cannabis companies have struggled to make a name for themselves through paid advertising, with very few brands being able to get their campaigns approved, even globally. With ASA and CAP allowing us to formally submit and challenge old restrictions currently shutting down the rest of the industry, we are confident of a new wave of growth for the space,” noted Marwan Elgamal of THC ® & Endo.
