KidGlov, a marketing and advertising agency based in Lincoln and Omaha, Neb., recently hosted Anne Hindery, CEO of the Nonprofit Association of the Midlands (NAM), on its podcast, Agency for Change. The episode explores how NAM supports nonprofit organizations in the region.

The Nonprofit Association of the Midlands (NAM) is a membership organization for nonprofits of all sizes and missions in Nebraska and western Iowa. NAM is part of the National Council of Nonprofit Organizations, which is the largest network of nonprofit organizations in the country.
During the Agency for Change podcast, Hindery spoke about the challenges nonprofits face, how the pandemic has intensified and in some cases created new challenges, and how NAM supports philanthropic work.
“Every great social innovation is started by a non-profit organization. I would like to say that our job is to facilitate the work of our nonprofit members,” said Hindery.
Hindery and her team support local nonprofits through a variety of programs, including their Signature Program, Guidelines and Principles, an online assessment tool that helps nonprofits review Areas of Opportunity across 12 areas of nonprofit activity, including Board Governance, Fundraising, Financial Management, Human Resources, and Suite.
